Dal 2000 circa la HEINEKEN ITALIA SPA produce con il marchio PRINZ ed altri marchi in 4 stabilimenti italiani per le bottiglie : Comun Nuovo (BG), Assemini(CA), Massafra (TA) e Messina (ME). Per le birra in lattina utilizza lo stabilimento a Pollein (AO).

I marchi prodotti dalla HEINEKEN ITALIA SPA in Italia sono: BIRRA MORETTI, SANS SOUCI, PRINZ, DREHER, ICNUSA, CLASSICA VON WUNSTER, BIRRA MESSINA, HEINEKEN, AMSTEL, McFARLAND, MURPHY'S IRISH STOUT e FOSTER'S.

La HEINEKEN ITALIA spa ha deciso il 10.01.2007 di chiudere lo Stabilimento di Messina (ME) smantellando la sede storica, dove la birra dal 2000 non veniva più prodotta ma solo imbottigliata e distribuita, assieme alle altre del gruppo, l' HEINEKEN, MORETTI e PRINZ. Ma il marchio BIRRA MESSINA non morirà e da settembre 2007 viene prodotta a Massafra (TA).

Nel febbraio 2008 la TRISCELE srl di Francesco Faranda ha riacquistato lo Stabilimento di Messina(ME) e riprendere l'attività del nonno che aveva cominciato nel 1923.

La produzione è con due marchi diversi: Birra del Sole e Patruna e Sutta. HEINEKEN ITALIA spa ha tenuto per sè il marchio BIRRA MESSINA.

Since 2000, about the HEINEKEN ITALIA spa produces with the brand name PRINZ and other brands in four Italian plants for bottles: Comun Nuovo (BG), Assemini (CA), Massafra (TA) and Messina (ME). To use the canned beer plant in Pollein (AO).

Der Kurort HEINEKEN ITALIA spa beschlossen am 10.01.2007 in die Fabrik in Messina (ME) nahe dem historischen Ort, wo das Bier nicht mehr seit dem Jahr 2000 produziert wurde, sondern nur in Flaschen abgefüllt und verteilt zerlegen, zusammen mit der anderen Gruppe, die Heineken, MORETTI und PRINZ. Aber die Marke Birra Messina wird nicht sterben und ist im September 2007 produziert Massafra (TA).

Im Februar 2008 hat die TRISCELE srl Francesco Faranda Messina (ME) wieder und wieder die Aktivitäten seines Großvaters hatte im Jahr 1923 begonnen.

Die Produktion ist mit zwei verschiedenen Marken: Birra del Sole und Patruna und Sutta. HEINEKEN ITALIA Spa selbst hat die Marke Birra Messina genommen.
